Statement: I'm Brandyn Miller (left). My wife, Mackenzie (right), and I have just moved to Iowa from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am excited to serve as the pastor of FCUCC and to learn more about our new community. I have served in many churches as the youth director and tech director, but I have been working toward becoming a senior pastor for over a decade. I have a B.A. in Biblical Studies with an emphasis on Pastoral Ministry and an M.Div focusing on Small Groups and Discipleship.
Interests: In my free time, I love spending time with my two dogs (Honey and Ginger), discovering the best pizza places, going for runs, and attending concerts. I am truly excited and honored to be at FCUCC and can't wait to see how God moves.

Statement: I was born and raised in Waterloo and graduated from Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy. I received a BA in criminal justice in 2014 but I have worked at many churches and a synagogue throughout the years and enjoy working in the religious field.
I began my employment at FCUCC in 2016 and I appreciate how the congregation has made me feel so welcome.
Interests: Playing with my dogs, Kensi & Milo; playing video games with my husband; and listening to music.

Statement: I am honored to be able to use my gifts to help provide the musical portion of our weekly worship services. Music has always been an incredibly important part of the worship experience for me, and I look forward to helping provide that for the congregation at First Congregational UCC!
Interests: I enjoy biking, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy opportunities to see and work with live music and community theatre here in the Cedar Valley!

Statement: Hudson is a Brazilian native from São Paulo. His first contact with church music was through many relatives, most of them being church musicians as well, still during his childhood. Hudson graduated from the master's program in Organ Performance at the University of Iowa.
Interests: Hudson's hobbies include cooking, listening to music, and biking.
